Similar to the drawing with food pigments however this time we were asked to bring in different household items such as a fork, toothbrush, screw driver etc. I brought in a variety of items to get the best range of marks, such as tea bag to a blusher brush. Again I really enjoyed this workshop as we had to use quink ink with the tools and see how many different marks we could make with each and then draw the tools we had made using the tools.
The above image are the four of my favourite drawing i created using the marks and tools that I had previously created, the mark making excercise was really interesting to me as I was beginning to see various textile designs out of them. I have since used some of the tools in other work.
