Carboard Catwalk

This was a group project that ran for a week, the aim of the project was to experiment with the versatility of cardboard. As a group we were given two artists to research in which our designs were to be based upon. We were given Max Beckmann and Cornelia Parker, which are the compelete opposites of each other. Once we had researched both artists and come up with designs we had to experiment with how to create textures with cardboard and the flexability of cardboard.

After the experimentation process we had three days to create the garments, as a team we pulled together and I think we created two really striking pieces that relate to both artists. We then had to think about lighting, music and choreography for the caltwalk that again complimented the garments and enhanced the interesting design features.
