12th Project

This project was an extension from City Threads, I chose the Origami option as I have never tried anything like this and wanted to see my drawings on actual objetcs. To start myself off on this project I chose my Manchester Christmas market images, which just so happened to be of garlic, I bought a whole garlic and placed it in my studio space. From this I used stick, ink, bleech and water colours to create a wide range of differenent drawings of the same garlic. From this I photocpoied my drawings to make the paper in which I created the Origami, I chose on quite delicate Origami pieces to make to compliment the intricate and delicate textures of my drawings. I went a little Origami crazy and made rather a lot so I made them into hanging Garlands using invisable thread, which again adds to the delicate theme.
