Drawing with the body

This excercise proved to be quite a challenge as we weren't allowed to use or hands of fingers to draw with except in an obscure way, the objective was to take us out of our comfort zones and push the boudaries of drawing.

These drawings were created using variuos body parts such as my mouth and feet, I found this extremely difficult I could barely see what I was drawing and also had very little control over the outcome.
Here I used charcoal on the end of a stick whilst standing on a chair and the marks all have movement of feelings associated to them such as 'the angriest line' or 'the slowest line'.
These were created using the same method as above, and althought they are not the best drawings I have ever created I feel they have a slight illustrative look to them.
Here we were asked to close our eyes, feel around or face and draw what we felt as opposed to what we saw, without taking the charcoal off the page. The outcome is disappointing  however it reminds me slightly of Picasso's work.

This is a page from my sketchbook where I documented what we did during the day.
